What made you join United Advisers?

I was looking forward to a new challenge post a lifetime in consumer goods. My former university housemate and good friend recommended United Advisers when I mentioned that I was interested in moving into the industry. I spent a significant amount of time on due diligence and met up with both David and Paul. I was also able to spend time in the office and observe the Geneva team in action with clients. Also, I was satisfied with the integrity of the business and was impressed with the calibre of the people I had met. So I took to my studies with vigour and joined as soon as I had obtained my qualifications.

What is something clients are surprised to learn about UAG?

That it is a dynamic business with the ability to have a global reach. Many of our clients think we are only local to them and don’t realise that we have offices all over the world!

Do you have a top financial/investment/life tip?

Don’t gamble. Always speak to a professional to obtain balanced advice and then decide.

Describe yourself in 3 words…

Insightful, personal and gregarious

Can you share your best UAG moment?

You have heard it before. My first client! It was a great feeling knowing that I had been able to help someone do more with their savings.

Now tell us a secret…

You will not find any tigers in Africa. As a young Zoology undergraduate talking to the Professor I thought you would!!
