What made you join United Advisers?

I joined UAG right after leaving my previous job as I wanted a new challenge. United Advisers was the right choice. The company was in the same financial area and they have an international presence with a diverse team. I first met my future colleagues just before winter holidays and received my “yes” in January. This was a great post-Christmas present!

What is something clients are surprised to learn about UAG?

How much we use different social media to connect with new and existing clients. We know that people who searching for financial advice and support turn to Google or social media to get information or recommendations. We try to ensure that we have a good line of communication within the channels that they like using; LinkedIn and Facebook. LinkedIn is a very powerful tool for building relationships.

Do you have a top financial/investment/life tip?

Save rather than spend! I know many of my colleagues have said that same thing. It really is the best advice.

Describe yourself in 3 words…

Ambitious, intuitive and perseverent

Can you share your best UAG moment?

When I found out I will work directly with Nygel Harriman, my Wealth Manager, he is such a great person to work with.

Also when I look back in the past and I see how much I’ve learned and grown over the past year I am really proud. I’ve benefitted from good training and sharing knowledge. It makes me realise it was the best thing that happened since I joined the company. It also makes me excited about the year to come!

Now tell us a secret…

The person who works the hardest and cares the most, wins!
