Joseph Maghdoussian

Joseph moved from Atlanta, Georgia USA to Luxembourg a little over a year ago. Since then, he has adapted to the culture change and is ready to enhance his career within the financial sector.

When not at work, Joseph enjoys spending time with his wife and two children; making them happy is the best reward in life for him.

Joseph is also a big NFL fan and supports his home team Atlanta Falcons (despite all the heartache they have caused him). Joseph also enjoys online gaming at a competitive level.

What made you join United Advisers?

I’m at a point in my career where I feel I’m done “trying” to see how things go. Instead of just “trying” I’m ready to make the best out of my next opportunity.

I have a banking and finance background, so it was natural for me to stay in the industry and search for the right company. Once I came in contact with UAG, I felt comfortable with the entire staff. I would say everyone’s positive attitude, and flamboyant personalities made this decision easy for me and are the leading reasons I joined UAG.

What is something clients are surprised to learn about UAG?

The ability of UAG to show clients how we base everything around their lifestyle and what we do to turn their vision of their financial future into reality.

Do you have a top financial, investment, or life tip?

For me, life is like working out at the gym where you push your muscles to the extreme, and after recovering, they rebuild stronger than before.

In life, as in the gym, take yourself out of your comfort zone. Learn and adapt to change. Embrace and overcome.

Describe yourself in 3 words

Diligent, methodical, loyal.

Can you share your best UAG moment?

I’ve only been with UAG for a short period, but I can easily say it’s the times I spend with the entire staff; especially those in the Luxembourg office where I am based.

Now tell us a secret

I laugh at my own jokes, even if they’re not funny; this, of course, results in awkward stares, which just makes me laugh more. It’s an awesome circle.
